So I wasn’t going to do another post today but then I got some very exciting news from the Random House offices. Christopher Paolini fans the wait is almost over! It has just been announced that the fourth and final book in the Inheritance Cycle will be published in the UK on Tuesday 8th November 2011 simultaneously with the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. It will also be available in ebook and audio editions. Eragon, Eldest and Brisingr have been international publishing sensations. The first three books have sold over 25 million copies worldwide and fans have eagerly been awaiting this final instalment since September 2008 when Brisingr hit shelves. I’m happy to announce the wait for INHERITANCE will soon be over. I have the first 3 books sitting on my bookshelf and with the official announcement of the last book I am very excited to make a start on them soon!

ReplyDeleteFinally! This book has been years in the coming- with no hint of a title or publication date until now. I've nearly completely forgotten the story so far and who is who in the previous books. Hope you enjoy the books when you get to them Jess! I may need to do a bit of re-reading before this comes out...
