November TBR Pile Vlog

The Monthly TBR meme is hosted by Booksessed and since I already do these video's I thought why not link up this month?

You guys liked it so here I am again with another monthly to be read pile video! November is all about making a start on those Christmassy reads and catching up on the books released this year that sound really good but for some reason I haven’t gotten around to. So this is me squeezing in as many Christmas books and exciting 2012 releases before the years over, enjoy!

Meet Me Under the Mistletoe by Abby Clements (read)
A Winter Flame by Milly Johnson
Crewel by Gennifer Albin
How to Save a Life by Sara Zarr
Time Between Us by Tamara Ireland Stone (read)
Shadows and Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor

What’s on your reading piles for this month? I’d love to know!

  1. I didn't even know about the book Shadows! I've read Obsidian and Onyx, but I think that I must get to Shadows now too! I honestly can't wait to see what you think of Days of Blood and Starlight and How to Save a Life, both books which I really loved! I really want to read some Christmassy reads too I must try to squeeze them in somehow! Hope you enjoy all your books! :)

    1. It's a short ebook about what happened with Dawson and Bethany and only £2 on Kindle! I LOVED Days of Blood and Starlight ( just finished) and am really looking forward to How to Save a Life so I'm glad to hear you loved it :)

  2. Another great video Jess, I absolutely love the Lux series and have read the first 2 books, I had the physical copy of Shadows ordered on amazon for months and they kept emailing me putting the date back and I mentioned it to Jennifer L Armentrout on twitter and she said they shouldn't be selling it on there as the physical copy of it doesn't exist so it looks like I won't be getting it, I'm getting a Kindle for Xmas so maybe I'll get it on that!
Interesting that you compared Crewel to Wither, that has piqued my interest as I adore Wither and Fever.
This November I am hopefully going to finally read The Diviners by Libba Bray, Fated by Alyson Noel and The Highgate Vampire and I have a few others on my tbr pile,at the minute I am reading The Raven Boys.
By the way, is that one of your new Yankee candles burning in the background?

    1. That's weird of Amazon! It's a bargain on the Kindle at £2 so I'd go for it ;)

Glad I've got you interested in Crewel I'm really looking forward to it and have heard great things!

Hope you enjoy all your reads this month and yes! I was burning one of my favourites 'Red Velvet' whilst filming this.

  3. Ooooh! I keep seeing Meet Me Under the Mistletoe around but I didn't realise it was like The Holiday - that's one of my favourite festive movies! I don't really have any festive reading lying around this year (except Dash and Lily!) so I've added it straight onto my wishlist, thanks!

So far this month I've finished On the Day I Died and given up on another book that was just too sad, so now I can start on my proper Nov TBR pile at last! I'm starting off with one of the Pirates! books (because my reading's been so slow lately, I want a boost) and Julia and Julia (because I've had the movie for AGES but I want to read the book first!). After that I'm thinking it might be time for ASHFALL! :)

    1. If you have Dash and Lily AND this on your TBR you're in for some great festive reading! My mums only gone and nabbed it after finding out it was like The Holiday too - she loves that film!

Yay for Ashfall! Can't wait to see what you make of that. Hope you have a great reading month this month and get around to all of the books on your TBR! :D

  4. I'm glad that you're participating in my meme.

I haven't read any of those books but I really hope that you like them. I've heard great things about Shadows and Onyx.
